[03/03/2015] CRS Regent Street and Mount Street Window Displays / Week 3. 26/02/15 Presentation

Our group passed by a roll of beautiful retail stores as we strolled on Regent Street, this legendary perfume house, Penhaligon's London, caught our immediate attention because of the window and the mysterious first impression made all of us curious. So we got inside the store, approached to the sales and had a talk about the concepts surrounding their special window display.

The installation of three dimension copper piping and distillation glass vessel in their classic window said something about their brand, utilizing repetition as the visual cues to highlight the fact that they owned a historical heritage in the perfume manufacturing process.

There is an special antique feeling in the store, a bold fuchsia wall color showcases cool mint green box displays and the wooden cabinets also help to add a touch of warmth to balance the use of such vivid colors.

The Mount st. store we selected to talk about was a Parisian handbag brand, Moynat. Moynat has been a pretty low key luxury brand, it stands quietly on the ground floor in a historical building. The color of the lighting saw through its open-back window suggesting harmony consistency with the building.

The store adopted a focusing concept on the window display, wooden tone warm color in the background and popped in the handbags in different colors, which clearly encircling the core merchandise.

There was a clam and charming first impression as you walk into the store, you immediately got a intimate gallery feeling, oak display shelves along with soft light at the side orderly layout the beautiful handbags.
